Here's a little bit about my personal life:

  • Marriage:

    My wife, Caroline, and I recently celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary! We met as ballroom dancers when we were both teenagers. We traveled competing around the western hemisphere as dance partners, eventually becoming international champions in our division in both the smooth and rhythm styles. After dating for 2-years of dating, we were married at our young adult bible study being 22/20 years old. Our marriage mantra is this: "Together is our favorite place to be."

  • Soccer:

    I LOVE to push my body and compete with others. I grew up exclusively playing the game of soccer ("football" to those of us real ones 😉). After high school, I trained one-on-one with a college coach to prepare me for pursuing professional soccer down in South America before the World Cup in 2014. As an offer came in to move down to Brazil and begin try-outs, I decided to pursue to my dance career with Caroline instead of professional soccer. And I don't regret it a single bit!

  • Hobbies:

    After years of "chickening out", I finally plunged into the world of creativity! As someone who grew up an "athlete", being a creative person seemed out of character and truly terrifying at times. But, eventually I jumped into the deep end learning things like singing, songwriting, photography, and videography. And boy was I missing out on a ton of fun and adventure that I never thought I would enjoy so much! 🥳

Here's an "inside look" into my professional journey:

  • Pastor:

    Much of my growing up years I spent as an atheist. 😬 Yet, even in that state, God encountered me and changed my whole life when I was 19-years old. I eventually interned at a local Nazarene church. Then became the Youth Pastor at a local Episcopal church. During that time, I was a board member of a local non-profit young adult ministry called "Intentional Network". Following this, I was officially ordained by a group of my elders and peers in 2014. I then became the Associate Pastor at a local Southern Baptist church. Since then, I have served in many ministry capacities in a variety of different churches all with the same mission: loving, following, and glorifying Jesus Christ in all I do.

  • Author:

    Writing and journaling has always been apart of my life, so I had always dreamed of writing and publishing a book of my own. Yet, like so many dreams, it evaded me until it seemed impossible. Then, one day, my wife picked up something I wrote and practically forced me to keep going with it. That not-so-gentle nudge became the very dream that turned into reality for me in 2022...my very own published book: "Beating Average: A Story to Extraordinary". 📚

  • Business + Life Coach:

    As a 3rd-generation entrepreneur, I've always felt like I got the "business owner chromosome". Ever since I was a kid I loved to learn, teach others, walk with them through the struggle of learning themselves. This carried into my dance career and pastoral career where I worked with people from all walks of life to learn something new and DO something new. Eventually, after helping to grow our family business and multiple churches, I decided to get "officially" certified in areas of business and life coaching so I could impact the lives of individuals, businesses, and non-profits all across the United States.
